Pat, Cheryl and Kris Thank You for treating our internal customers so well. You all did a great job and I appreciate it but more importantly they all appreciated it. Cheryl, Pat, and Kris Thanks again for a amazing fishing experience, we had a great time at Alexander's. The staff and service were exceptional. We can't wait until we can come back."–Basak Group
Dear Pat & Cheryl, On behalf of Joe, Matt, Tom and the Smity's, I would like to thank you for the great time we had at your camp. We enjoyed your guide's willingness to experiment with different techniques, especially George's "mumbo jumbo" dance! (I guess you had to be there.) We equally enjoyed the stories of Ray's adventuresome life and Kris's energy and genuine passion for muskies. Everyone’s camaraderie with the group was great. We of course enjoyed the wonderful food - especially the smoked Lake Trout & Whitefish. And oh, and did I mention the cookies? The cabin was comfortable; the shower house roomy, and the boats were top notch which made all the difference in the world. Thanks to you and your staff, everything went smoothly - from the flight, to greeting us at the dock, to the bait acquisition and all the way down the line. No matter how you spell it, you still get a wonderful time! Thanks again for your hospitality! Regards,–Kurt M. Kuhlman
More than muskies, Rowan means lakers, walleyes, bass and northerns, too!"–Dan Johnson, North American Fishing Magazine / TV
Incredible Musky fishing and one of the best locations I have ever seen for bringing children to fish. The Alexander's make their destination one of the greatest in Northern Ontario!"–Colin Mckeown,The New Fly Fisher TV
Alexander's on Rowan Lake is absolutely great and totally remarkable. The meals are great and the friendly service by the entire staff is incredible. I am truely amazed at the numbers and quality of fish in Rowan Lake!"–Steve Suick, Suick Lure Mfg
I have seen and caught more large muskies on Rowan than on any other body of water I've fished. Something BIG always happens at Alexander's on Rowan Lake!"–Jim Linder, Executive Director and Co-Host In Fisherman TV
I've been a guest at Alexander's for several years now and I'm never disappointed with the fishing or accommodations. When I'm not at Alexander's on Rowan Lake, I'm day dreaming about going back!"–Bob Trumpy, NBC Sports TV
If you’re like me, and love to fish muskies, but would like to get away from the all too common scene these days of having to wait for a “spot” to open up on your favorite lake, I strongly suggest visiting Alexander's on Rowan Lake. A tiny hop in a float plane and you’ve got thousands of acres of some of the best musky water in the world literally all to yourself!"–Larry Dahlberg, Hunt for the Big Fish TV
Pat and Cheryl, Thanks again for your outstanding hospitality. Riley and I can't wait to come back next year. Rowan Lake is one of my favorite lakes. I'm not sure where else a 11 year old kid can boat 4 muskies (1st year) and 3 muskies (2nd year) each in a 4 day trip. The new 20 hp motors really helped us cover more water.....and not be late for dinner!"–Paul and Riley Veith, Minneapolis, MN
You have created a wonderful secluded environment at your lodge, and this little comment card is not near enough space for JoAnn and I to thank you for your warm and sincere hospitality. Everyone has been so nice & helpful and interested if we are having a good time. It has been the most pleasurable vacation of our lives, and you haven’t seen the last of us!"–Joann and Phil Hilliard
Rowan Lake has excellent cabbage beds, and hundreds of blow-downs and reed beds where big old largemouth are found. “Three- and four-pound bass were a common ‘mistake,’ when I went muskie fishing there with our oversized muskie baits.” Rowan Lake is a large, unique, fly-in fishery with very little fishing pressure. And most of that is for the incredible muskie that reside there. Imagine fishing a lake where the majority of largemouth bass have probably never seen a lure before!"–Gord Pyzer, Outdoor Canada’s, Fishing Editor
I fish a lot of lakes here in Minnesota, but my muskie fishing highlight each year is up on Rowan. I've made many trips to your lodge over the years and again I was amazed at the fantastic job that you and your staff do. Our two boys casted for muskies all day and evening and they couldn't wait to get back to camp to fish those bass off the docks....it's in their blood!"–Mitch Albers, Minneapolis, MN
Thanks so much for a most enjoyable stay and fishing experience at your lodge last week. The outpost cabin was exactly what we were looking for and even exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness and organization of the lodge, deckhouse, bathhouse and our cabin was impressive, and appreciated. And thoughtful things like the ice and storage bins for our beer and fish and the shore lunch sports with cookers and propane made things that much nicer and more enjoyable. You run a first rate camp and it really shows!"–Brad Lucas Fishing Party
I have been fishing at Alexander's on Rowan Lake since 1987. The only thing I hate about the place is having to leave at the end of the fishing trip. Not only does the lake harbor monster, world class muskies it also has great lake trout, good bass and northern pike fishing and three good walleye lakes just a short portage away. The accommodations are second to none and the scenery just keeps beckoning me back. Jump in the plane and make some fantastic memories!!"–Ray Gildow, Author of the fishing book Legends & Legacies, A History of the Nisswa Guides' League
The accommodations are alway flat out the best! Every aspect of your camp is organized, spotless and beautiful. The both of you always go out of your way to make those around you feel special. Your actions speak louder than words and can easily be seen in your dedication and love for your camp. From bringing in fuel in late winter/early spring, to cleaning rooms, doing laundry, mowing the yard, mopping out boats, the wonderful meals you serve - all you have to do is look around and you see how much you care!"–Dan Kosmoski, Men's Head Basketball Coach, St. Olaf College, Northfield, MN
