Bass fishing is at its peak this time of year with groups going out and catching 100-150 bass per day. Many of the bass are running 17-19 inches. The biggest smallmouth bass was caught two weeks ago on a swim bait with a 3/16 oz jig head and a 3.5 inch swim bait. Measuring just over 21 inches.

Big fish are showing up and biting! We’ve experienced a nice Rowan lake Muskie Rampage in the past few days.
