Posted by:

A guy in camp who is here by him self in his 70’s caught 73 smallmouth today on his fly rod.  “The best day of bass fishing in his life”, he said. That’s petty cool stuff!

The Muskie Opener, morning, was great, 11 fish caught before lunch.  Paul Weston got a 49″er, Rich Connoy a 48″ and 49″er, Don got 3 muskies, 42″, 43″ and 47″, also some big ones lost too.
Great Rowan opener 38 muskies caught a very good shallow water bite going on. Water temps in the high 60’s to maybe 70 later in the after noon.lots in the mid 40’s

The largest being a 52’er. A very heavy female, and 10 minutes later in the same bay his partner got a 51 (see pic below)..two very happy guys. More reports coming from us here on Rowan
As the season continues.

Thanks for checking in.

Always Calm Waters to you all.
