Early July Fishing Report

Posted by:

Lake trout, walleye and bass fishing remain strong. Water levels are dropping and the surface temps are rising.  Despite the cool spring and summer fishing has been good.  The Weeds are starting to grow in all the regular spots and fish continue to show up in the weeds and on the rocks.  We had some pretty nice muskies caught and released over the past few weeks as you can tell from the release sheets and pics posted below.

Congratulations to all our muskie fisherman and women who have released their trophies back into Rowan Lake (see release pics below)!  Many muskies between 28″ and up to a 55″ monster have been caught so far.

It’s been great to see so many familiar faces back in camp.  We are looking forward to seeing all our returning guests and the many new faces coming to experience what Rowan Lake has to offer in the coming weeks…

Keep a tight line.
