Rowan Lake Fishing Report – Early July

The 2017 Muskie opener was a bit slower than average due to cool water temps in mid to low 60’s.
Water temps are unusually low for the start of July.  Not seeing great numbers of fish around but
when they show up they are in a biting mood.
Small darker colored bucktails have been the hot bait.  With the warmer weather here in early July
all groups are seeing a lot more active fish.   A nice surprise has been the big fish being CPR’d the
last few days.  Check out the BIG Rowan Lake Muskies released below…
