Late August Fishing Report

Posted by:

We had a mid August flurry of big fish being boated. Since then we’ve had active fish for a period and then a heat wave came in and that slowed things down a bit. Water temps have reminded stable around 72 degrees. The full moon period didn’t really produce, but since the last little cold front a lot more fish are showing up. Clients here are having multiple fish days and we’ve have a number of low 50’s class fish caught and released. Bass fishing is still unbelievable for the few that are out on the lake wanting that constant tug on their line…

We are plenty busy here now for a while and I hopefully have an early Sept report to keep everyone up to date of what’s happening here on Rowan.

Dan Gesicki (Dan Musky) is having a PR trip! He boated a mammoth 53 inches a few days back and today released a nice 50!

Congrats Dan!!
