I was able to fly into camp last Tuesday with partial ice cover on the lake. Lynn and the rest of our staff came in on Thursday. With the assistance of our great friend Dean Nelson and his son Jack we were able to get camp set-up in a couple of days busting it from sunrise to sundown. Our first guests have already arrived and the Lake Trout bite is on!
Ok..I know this fish was caught out of season but he was fishing for lake trout with 8lb. Line and this is what can happen in these waters of Rowan lake!
